So I tried to play Dragon Warrior I & II, Dragon Warrior Monsters, Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 Cobi's Adventure on my Visual Boy Advance emulator for the mac and the VBA quits on me before I even start to play the games. The furthest I got in any of them was DW I and the application quit after the opening cutscene finished. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

    What version of VBA?

I believe it's version 1.7.4 for the mac.

Hmm. Does it automatically just quit the emulator process or?

For Dragon Warrior I & II it quits after the opening cutscenes to either game.
For Dragon Warrior Monsters it quits immediately.
For Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 Cobi's Adventure it quits after selecting new game.

Just in case, follow the instructions in this thread:
    https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php?topic=6326.0

It basically puts a good GBA bios in your VBA files, and makes your VBA use it. Maybe these Dragon Warrior ROMs need a good GBA bios to work correctly?

This will make VBA run better, and does not cause any problems with any other games, just fixes problems.

Didn't work, but maybe the files I got aren't compatible with the mac version....

Make sure to delete the .sav files after doing the BIOS upgrade with VBA.

I tried that and no change. Actually these are all GBC games and I don't thing the GBA bios I got is compatible with the mac version of VBA.
