Dragon Quest V DS, Boat Help?

Yea, some others may have posted this, but wth..
Im stuck on the boat (DQ V) Ive talked to everyone, nothing happens.
Does the same problem occur in my European version?
The one Square Enix put in so your stuck on the boat?
Help please!

Then update the cheat database in the TTMENU folder.

 

i can't figure out how to put the cheat on the m3dsreal, im reading through all the cheat boards but i don't see anything about the m3, and i can't tell what program is being used to do the cheats on in the first place.

I haven't heard of anyone getting this to work with an M3 Real as of now. Unfortunately.

 

Hm I thought only the euro version will have this boat stuck problem, but I tried it with the US version and it's still the same, I can't get the boat to dock, does it have the anti-piracy in it too?

 

Yes, I heard that the US version also have that anti-piracy thing. Refer to Anandjones's link above.

You can try using DSATM to patch the ROM with the Action Replay codes.

I have updated my cheat database but it's still not working, currently using this cheat code editor r4cce anyone has any idea how that works?

 

Instead of editing the cheat codes yourself, just download the updated database from gbatemp.net

 

yep I did, I download and replace it the cheat I have in my R4, but it still didn't work, do I need to enable the cheat or something?

 

It seems a lot of people's cart organizations don't upgrade their firmware. The Cyclo team and Edge team updated their firmware so I don't have any problems. But like others said you just need the cheats to get past that part.

 

Yes, you need to turn on the Cheat. I think it's called "Game Fix" or something like that in the cheat database.

And you have to keep it turned on every time you play!

 

So how do I turn it on?

 

press "y" when highlighting the game in the menu, then there are the cheats. Select the one that says Game Fix and your good.
