I'm able to locate the cheat files however if I activate any of them it results in a white screen. This is with M3i zero/Sakura latest firmware. Any ideas?

yup, which is why the new post...it's no longer about seeing the cheats (they're all there), now they just freeze up my game
Pre-patched or Clean ROM? I'm not sure about the functionality of cheats on the Pre-patched version. Edit: http://gbatemp.net/t239740-dragon-quest-ix-save-editor? - Look for version 0.6. There is a translated (not 100%, but it's easy to figure out for the areas not translated for the most part) save editor for Dragon Quest IX. I used it yesterday to pump up my Inn guests number and it worked perfectly. I would suggest keeping a back up of your save just in case. If you do use it, remember to make sure all cheats are disabled, or else certain changes made by the save editor may not show up.
