Hey this thread is all about what you did in DQ IX and where you are now what you want to do and more stuff like that : Well i just beat the witch in brigadoom (forget her name :S and i beat here in less then 30 minutes) My party is : Wessel (Magistrate) lvl 14 (the hero) Cynthia (Mage) lvl 11 Eris (Warrior) lvl 12 (too overpowered) Leuco (priest) lvl 12 oh and i just got the alchemy pot anyone knows some good recipes for now except for the standards

i have just beat the witch too i didnt knew that you could have partners so i beat it with the hero only in level 16 now i have two partners more in training
wow thats pretty good you can have a party of 4 team members including yourself (and BTW i like you name i love KH )
My characters are about level 18. Raven (Hero, Minstrel still) Specialising in swords. Level 19 May (Warrior, Ridiculously powerful but extremely slow) Specialising in swords. Level 18 Gohan (........ I saw the art style and was like "OMG TOTALLY GOHAN RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW" Which is, for some reason, not a martial artist and is a mage instead , Around level 18, gets pretty useless when his mana runs out. The staff his got, when used as an item, is kinda useful though; does Wind Damage to a group of enemies..) And Marik, who is a Priest at level 19/18 or something I forget. He's decently, and surprisingly sorta strong, tad weaker than the hero. Specializes in Lance/spears. Set his AI to Focus on Healing (the rest are on Fight Wisely, Just to speed things up so I don't have to manually control. Plus, most of the time, AI can decide what they do midturn, which is useful if an enemy unpredictably deals out large damage with your healer prepped to save you ^_^ For sake of not spoiling anything, I've done some stuff. Then I went to a familiar place. Then I did two things, at an Abbey, and at a seaside town. I'm able to change classes of anyone I can now, but if i do they go start in that Profession at level 1 with all stats back to level 1ness, so.. on the surface, seems to be little point, as you can just make a new character for that profession but Im probably missing something...)
hmm is it true that you can keep your skill points you already earned now at coffinwell with a party of : Wessel (Hero , Magistrate) lvl 16 Cynthia (Mage) lvl 14 (pretty useless without MP) Leuco (Priest) lvl 14 (he can be usefull without mp if you give him a spear) Eris (Warrior) lvl 14 (overpowered but extremely slow like Raven1992 said)
could some one help me not sure if im allowed to ask but i cant get dragon quest to work past creating the character any help im allowed would be appreciated or where to find a working rom thanks

cool just beat him too my team is the same but now : Wessel (Hero , Magistrate) lvl 19 Cynthia (Mage) lvl 18 Leuco (Priest) lvl 18 Eris (Warrior) lvl 19 Metal Slimes are my friends Post Merge: [time]1279037845[/time] and a tip buy alot of medicines (or whatever its called) and combine two of them you will then get strong meidcines restores 60 hp really helps after battles instead of heal
You can combine three medicinal herbs for an even stronger medicine if I'm not mistaken. Anyways, if you inspect every bookshelf, you'll find a ton of useful healing item recipes. I've been meaning to stock up, especially if there's an item besides the rare Yggdrasil Leaf that can revive people.
Metal Slimes - Quarantomb Stacked Metal Slimes - Bad Cave Liquid Metal Slimes - Bowhole I'm sure there is probably a King Metal Slime, but I don't know where it is yet.
my friend who has a friend in japan told me that there was a boss tower where you can battle alot of bosses from DQ games he said that king metal slime was in there
im in corvus castle now in almighty realm.. Aneuryzm lvl 47 Uno lvl 46 Dos lvl 44 Tres lvl 44.. i just finish the game and theres a to be continue after the credits..and theres a fygg fruit falling but i cant find it..and i think ten years have pass after when you resume on the game..after you beat it.
