Hi everybody, hope this is in the right section.

I'mtotally new to this but did well downloading a fewgames yesterday so I find it pretty easy.

Anyhow, out of 16 downloads performed,I only have 4 successes. All the others have not downloaded properly. It seems that for eg. file size is 32MB, only about 6 MB downloads and thenof course I get an error message when trying to unzip, file is corrupted.

Any ideas? I'm not downloading more than one file at a time. 24 hours ago, it was working fantastically for me. I have 445 points.

    Thanks

    Sharon

You have a unstable connection. If you are using wireless, switch to a wired connection if you can.

Otherwise use a download manager like Flashget that will let you resume your downloads if they stop before they are finished.

If you're using Firefox, this plugin works great Firefox DownloadThemAll! Addon

Opera handles them pretty well, you can resume if there's an error, plus it'll tell you if there's an error.

If you're using IE.... get one of them above :D

...In layman's terms, a download manager is required, it makes an unstable connection safe-I should know-I was on wireless-and now my connection is even more unstable-but now all connections work :)
