downloading problems!!

    i'm from malaysia..a country in south east asia..these 2 days..im having a problem of downloading a rom from this site..only from this site..the connection speed is too slow when i;m starting download the roms..can anybody explain about this..?

    download speed is outside our control for most part. trying the other mirror might help

    hey ummm ive been using this web site for everything latley and all the computers in my house r jacked up. so i have to use my psp for downloading. even now i am doing this from my psp. now in the past ive never had a prob wit downloading any thing but now wen ever i try to download from here on my psp it say wit both mirrors that the communication server faild. the wen i click them again it say 403-forbiden. so can u guy fix this problem plz.

    that error means someone with your IP is already downloading from our site

    last year when we didn't want our bandwidth bills to become crippling.

    There have been a lot of issues with that 403 error, never saw that before. I was used to have several connections at the same time before, but now it's capped. Not that I complain. :p

    We'll make it more obvious in the future, it was sort of a rush fix to prevent the bandwidth from going totally insane.

    loonylion. nobody else in my house uses this website or even nos of it so how could sum 1 wit my ip be downloading sumthing wen they dont no anything or even of this web site

    It could also be the server that's busy, possibly, maybe, have you tried download again? and does it happen with both the US and EU server?

    yes happens with both and when i try it again it says 403-forbidin. and thats all for both.

    A proxy is an intermediate server that fetches pages on your behalf and returns them to you. Many users can share a proxy, so it can be used to allow a lot of people to share one IP address. Some ISPs (AOL being the most notable, but there are others) force their customers to use proxies to reduce their costs

    if someone else is downloading using the same proxy as you then our site thinks you are already downloading, because you both have the same IP address

    i dont have proxy so. how can i fix this problem? and can u help me fix it?

    you wont necessarily know you're using one if your ISP forces it on you. If that is the case then it can't be fixed.

    It shouldn't be blocked all the time, so if it is then there's definitely something going on that shouldn't happen.
