downloaded metalslug7 & monster farmer both wont work HELP NOOB HERE

its been awhile since i last downloaded a game and i think ive forgotten how to extract and transfer them to the ds this is what it said

load rom errcode=-7


Please reset system.
2nd time it happened since i downloaded incredible hulk(downloaded 5 games at the same time with hulk only hulk didnt work so i think
hulk was broken)

is it the same with these?

how do i fix them?

 

Have you extracted them properly so you get the .nds without any problems? Have you updated your flashcart's firmware to the latest? What flashcart? If you've already done all this, redownload it.

and what is a flashcart? is that the tape like thing inserted at the DS that has TTDS written on it? or is it the more smaller black tape inserted at the TTDS? if any of those are the flashcart which one and where do i download it to its latest?

Your flashcart is the TTDS/DSTT. If you go to their website you should be able to download firmware. The firmware is the moonshell and system file that you downloaded when you first got the flashcart. When you turn on your ds it should say what version your flashcart is, usualy in one of the bottom corners of the screen. Check the website to see if you have the latest/newest firmware. If there is a newer version than the one that you have then download it.

If that dosnt work then try to re-download the game. Once finnish downloading right-click on the zip file and choose " extract here" and wate untill the extraction window is gon. Once compleated there should be a .nds file. That is what you want , the game file. Then delete the other files that came out, if any, and the zip file. If the game still dosnt work then I got no idea...(>-.-)> Hope this helps!!!

Go to http://www.linfoxdomain.com/ds/, download the latest for DSTT. Then see the Winrar tutorial in the Tutorials section on this Forum. Extract the firmware archive, and then replace all the previous firmware files on your MicroSD with the new ones you have just downloaded.

would that work? or is that also a cause as to why it didnt work?
and how do you apply the latest version of the TTDS after ive downloaded it? is it the same as games?

You download the firmware for DSTT.. Then you extract it. Go into the english folder. Take every file in there, and put it on your MicroSD, and replace all the previous firmware files. Make sure to get the confirmation message. Yes, it's just as easy to place the .nds file on, doesn't really matter where, DSTT loads and reads all .nds files located on it's memory.

Okay, here, download the latest DSTT firmware from this direct download link, you can't stuff this up.

It's easy to, just go to the above site, and look for DSTT in the list, and then bloody click it, and then click the version to get the download!

Okay, once you have downloaded the .zip file, extract the file. Go into the folder that should have come out, and there should be some files and folders inside that folder. Connect your MicroSD to your computer and browse your MicroSD drive. Then take all of the files and folders you downloaded, and put it on your MicroSD, and replace all the previous firmware files with the new ones. Make sure to get the confirmation window message to appear!

 

a micro sd is the small black one inserted at the flashcart i think am i right?
getting it till "browse your microSd drive".so i take all that ive downloaded from eng(folder ttmenu and a file ttmenu) and put them in what folder there? do i put the with the games? and by replace you mean theres something already there and i swap them with the new ones? again do i put it in a folder in the microsd or do i just put it with them?

 

Yes, that's the MicroSD. No, you can place the games anywhere. Yes, you just replace the old files. Put it with them and then replace the old files.

Yes, you go through with the confirmation, so that it overwrites the previous files with the new ones. Yes, just take all those files and folders, and put them STRAIGHT on your MicroSD.
