I was using flashget with flashgot and for some reason my download that was 50% done stopped and it said resources 0/1 then it said 0/0 what does this mean I really needed to download this game.

try it again, I don't know what that error refers to, it sounds something specific to flashgot or flashget. Which file was it?

Sorry as this could be seen as spamming, I hope you don't see it as this way but I am re-downloading Mario Kart and have hit 81.3% as current. I'll see if this has something to do with my settings or internet. I'll try to post when I finish, and just in case this could be relevant my service provider is AT&T.

AT&T is one of those isp that does in fact cancel downloads that subjected to cancel any suspicious copyrighted material, even if not proven it violates the DMCA. usually they will send you emails or anything to let you know you are violating the contract you have with them.

BUT i think its your manager TBH, try other various download methods till either something works, or update/find an older version of the program in question to see if works better.

I doubt they will do this with direct downloads. Most likely only torrents and such.

I have gotten it working by downloading only when it is later or when no one is online in my house. It seems they overloaded my internet by using netflix (and chill) way too much and were blowing the internet reducing service available to everyone else into nothing.

Did you find that you couldn't resume your downloads before, even with flashget?

yes netflix eats bandwidth, and usually gets priority over standard http (because it doesn't matter if a few packets in a download gets delayed, it does matter if streaming video packets get delayed) so it's very possible for netflix to bring everything else to a halt.
