Download Speeds Too Slow

When I'm downloading a game, the speed is too slow. Like up to 4 kb/s. And once it reaches up to a certain point, the download stops itself and I get an error. I didn't have these problems before, only yesterday up to today.

 

Please test your speed using Speeedtest.net.

It may be an error on your side, not ours.

 

Well, it says my download speed is 0.93 mbps. So I don't think it's an error on my side.

So I tried downloading at another ROM site and I can download there just fine. No errors, regular speeds. So the problem is probably with the site.

 

You could always try using download managers like Orbit and FlashGet.

Just don't forget to only use 1 thread for downloading stuff in Romu.

 

I'm personally experiencing really slow download speeds as well, as in 4 kb/s.

How does one use a download manager for Romulation?

 

Looks like it really is a server problem. I'm getting dismal (more than usual) download speeds even with a manager. It's bouncing between 5 - 15 kb/s

 

i am getting 50kb as a premium user so it must be ^ cant wait to start downloading again just got home from work xD

 

Things seem to be going smoothly now. Steady 150 kb/s.

why not use proxy from country server or host placed??
