    Oh my,
when I tried to download something from here, the download speed suddenly reduced drastically...from 100+kbps to 3-10.kbps
I have tried using both IE8 and FireFox 3.0.13 with download manager such as OrbitDownloader and Flashget.Still the speed reduced drastically...
I'm using the Cyber Cafe's computer to download it.

It's working fine all the time..I don't know what's wrong this time..
I've already asked the shopkeeper about their connection and they said It's working fine.

I see no problem on our end, servers are using the same bandwidth as always. Try using a wired connection if you are using wireless.

There is plenty of bandwidth available on both servers, whe nI download from the US one I almost always get > 1 MB/sec and 2.2MB/sec from the EU one. We offer speed test files on the buy premium page which would show you the speed your capable of getting from us.

australia always gets the thin end of the wedge when it comes to internet speeds, this is because it is so remote from the rest of the world. There is relatively little bandwidth to the country and data has to travel a long way to get there.

absolutely we are behind other countries in more than just bandwidth levels, i thought it was my pc setup or network setup but alas after tweaking and trying different routers and switches due to many download level inconsistencies one minute downloading even from rapidshare was slow then normal and going from 6kb to 0kb then at one point one of the pc was downloading from reflexive at 170kb but mine was still 6kb i was pulling my hair out i had previously rang my isp who said they were having some problems from ppl uploading to utube but only for the last 30 mins i rang them back this time the answer was downloading outside australia was down and would take 2 days to fix alas all is well so end result was purely a server problem and broadband here is expensive also hence im on 512 true unlimited so thanks for the replies and congrats on a great site ..... cheers

hm... this never happened to me before, but now it does. I usually get at least 75+ kbps when downloading a psx game. and even a normal 90-140 kbps.. but now i get a 3-43 kbps... and its flunctuating between 15-27 kbps.. and my speedtest is

its wired..and even when i'm using my external Wireless N adapter with my N router, i'm getting excellent 130 mbps on wireless and 100mbps or wired. I know it will not be that fast, but 15-27 kbps is ridiculous...

is it because of the peak time? cause normally around the clock i get 90-140 kbps.
I'm not complaining cause its free but just wondering why its that slow.

In the last 24 hours there has not been less than 30mbit available, so that's a good 3.5 MB/sec extra we can send even during peak.
