my download speed really went down! please help me my download speed before is about 50 to 60 kbs. now my download speed is only 12 kbs. I use both mozilla firefox and googlechrome with internet download manager premium. please anyone help me.
Smartbro uses GPRS/UMTS, and I'm afraid to say that for those connection types, 12KB/s is good. the maximum throughput of UMTS is about 40KB/s, and that is subject to the number of other people using it on that cell tower.
PLDT is running smart bro also so you either stick to them or change to sky or globe. Because PLDT runs smart bro, their the same $H87TY service, Heck many of my neighbors (and me) has a downtime of 3 days to one week, were lucky if it has a connection, that is even less than 2 weeks a month and expects us to pay P1250 or $20 for a 1 megabit connection(actually we get 384 and even less, often we get speeds like a dial up). Expect many slowdowns and in the end dissconection for many days. Don't ask customer reps. though, they suck and even don't know the answer to your questions.
