Ok, so I went to download a psp game thru one of the affieated sites of romulation, which gave me a megaupload link... Now, my download manager is stuck at 99%! When I read the log, it mentions something about the "file size changed"??? What do I do now!?
You're not allowed to use download managers with MegaUpload unless you're a Premium Member of the site...as far as I know...
Opps-flash get-got-all I know is they are linked thru firefox and it's plugins... It's never done this before-something about the file size changed-what does that mean?
MegaUpload might have changed it....detecting you're using a download manager... I download with Firefox's built-in download manager when downloading from sites such as MegaUpload and RapidShare, etc....
No site can prevent you from using a download manager, but they can prevent you from resuming, megaupload definitely won't let you resume if you aren't a premium member.
...some weird japanese game...I downloaded all he good non rpg stuff already... Great-guess I'll mess about until I find a way around it... prehaps a restart of some sort can help-let's try...
I don't know-the file has a different name to the title of the game... Don't worry-was just curious-if this were gundam I would have went beserk... It was more of a taste of some weird japanese gaming.... I'm gonna restart my laptop-who knows XD
There is no such thing as an accelerating feature. What some download managers do is open up multiple connections to the server, if the connection between you and the server is bad then this can in some cases increase the speed you get. But to answer your real question, yes, they can block this by only allowing one connection per user. RomUlation does this, for instance.
