DOWNLOAD LIMIT REACHED!! HELP

Hi not sure if i've put this in the right place.. sorry if not.
I'm trying to download rom's but i keep getting the message you have reached your download limit for the day... i've been using the site for a while now and never had a problem before can someone please explain why it's saying this?

i'm not sure how many downloads you can have per day, but i know that there is a set download for free members (points) and guests.

 

Maybe you download to much big files and run out of points?

Are you logged in on the main site? Guests have a download limit, users are only limited by your points.

If you are using a program to download games from the site, make sure it has your login info, otherwise it may be trying to download as a guest.

 

This is happening to me too and I have only downloaded one game today.

It has never happened before and somedays i would download ten games.

I am a full member and I have more than enough points!

Why is this coming up? :-\

 

This site uses a point system so you can't overload it with large downloads.


So many people are downloading so they need it-if it's just small ds games then this is odd, if your downloading ps1 games...or gamecube.,..THAT IS YOUR ANSWER!

Also you should be able to check your points-if it's on zero sit back and wait.

I forgot when the points recharge..but same deal-big games or small ds games?

I've been a member of this great site for ages now , but i have been affected by this " reaching my limit " problem . it only seems to have started in the last month or so . i have loads of points , and sometimes i reach my limit , after one download ... frustrating

 

Hiya- I'm just wanting to add my voice as this is happening to me too.
I have checked my home page and have loads of points, and was surprised to see my download for this period being 12 ( I think)- I definitely haven't downloaded that many and think it classed it everytime I tried to re-download due to it not working the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time.
I too have been a member for a good couple of months and have never had this problem.
It started last night so thought i would give it a rest but the same is happening now.
I dont know what to do.
Any advice?

maybe you ran out of internet. or your internet plan has time restrictions like peak and off-peak. Just making suggestions.
