Download file not working?

Hey ijust downloaded a sims castaway from this site..and obviously this is my first time...after downloading it i got the zip file which is not working....and i cant put into the r4 card....can anyone pls help? or did i miss up something?

 

Is the file not un-compressing? If so, what extraction program are you using?

 

i m using win rar. btw for the ds lite...i have games in my r4 card...the things is everytime i want to switch i have to off the ds and restart it again?i hope you get what i mean

 

You don't want to have to turn the DS off when switching games? When picking a game make sure the little 'R' in the top right corner of the bottom screen is green. If it's isn't, touch it. When it is green and you load a game you can press some button combo to reset, I think it's L+R+Start+Select, if it's not just press as many buttons as you can.
Or are you talking about when you put new games on the MicroSD? If that is the case, then you must turn it off to do so.

The combination to soft-reset is L+R+A+B+X+Y.

 

The thingy in the corner has to be green also.

 

erm like i have games in the r4 card...after playing a game i feel like changing to another one..but i have no idea how to switch the game to the menu (list of games) so everytime i have to turn it off and on....erm...wat do you mean by the soft reset? i dun really get it....can anyone pls help....thank you very much

how about the rom...the rom i downloaded is not working...i wonder why...this is the picture

 

Redownload it. That should fix the problem. It may have gotten corrupted during download.

 

I'll use a computer as an example. A soft shut-off is when you go to the off button on the menu and click it. A hard shut-off is holding the power button on the tower itself down for several seconds. A soft reset on the R4 automatically takes you back to the main menu without having to turn the DS off first. You can switch games faster that way.

If redownloading it doesn't fix it, then try updating WinRAR to the latest version, if it is not already. (And I can only read, like .01% of TRADITIONAL Chinese.)
