download accelerator plus

    he im using a downloading manager called download accelerator plus, and thru out the download i keep getting asked for user name and passwowd, bt when i download normally i dont. does anyone know what password i am supposed to use??? thnx

    download accelerator plus is a download accelerator, not a download manager. We do not allow download accelerators.

    Actually we do, we just limit free users connections to 1. So an "accelerator" that opens up more connections won't do you any good.

    Download Accelerator Plus(DAP) only accelerate the downloading time,but sometime it slowed down after 1 to 2 hours...not good as the download accelerator...

    Try Orbit Downloader...better than DAPlus...

    It seems that Download Accelerator Plus has a kind of trojan or virus within it especially the hacked version, be very careful of them or it will screw your PC,

    I'm a member but it seems my speed the same as free user, why is that? > it doesn't even reach Normal User Max Down Speed.

    the free version of DAP contains adware.

    Also we limit the maximum speed guests and members get. if you don't reach that maximum then its for reasons outside our control.

    I'm also using Orbit Downloader now,it speeds up my downloads..
    but you may get some problem if you using it with IE8..
    Umm..does someone know how to use orbit downloader with Mozilla Firefox??

    when i press download button,the orbit downloader didn't respond to it,instead the firefox downloader that pop up....

    Use IDM (Internet Download Manager). The integration and overall speed + no-frills GUI blows the likes of DAP/Orbit out of the water. It's "free" per se, you know where to look ;)

    the two download managers works fine for me both IE8 and mozilla Firefox,
    have you got the latest versions and tried reinstalling them, cleanup your computer of trash,

    Download flashgot(a firefox add on) https://addons.mozilla.org
    Then Intregate Idm with it or use the advamced intrehation(can easily be noticed in idm options and restart the pc)

    but I'm also tried the Orbit Downloader 2.8.11(latest!!!)
    and it's also worked!!!
