dolphin fps/how to softmod a game cube?

    oh im trying to run games on dolphin, but the fps a low very low 8fps. normally i would except this but iv seen on youtube people runing the same games i am at much higher fps(20-30) and no matter what i do i can get the fps up. iv put the stetting on dual core, iv ran both the 32bit and 64 bit versions of dolphin, iv messed around with the anisotropic and nothing helped, can get the 9d3d plugin to work. so im out of ideals. is there anythingi im messing that would help?

    heres the versions ive tryied
    dolphin x64&32 3972 svn
    dolphin x64 r4044
    4026

    i have a amd turion x2 dual core 2.1ghz
    ati radeon 3200 hd
    vista 64bit sp2

    games tryed-both have the same fps
    super mario sunshine
    pikmin(started out great high fps but after the first level things went down hill)

    I'm not sure about your com spec..
    but mine plays at normal speeds with these com spec..

    AMD Phenom X4(not sure,I forgot about it..maybe X2)
    2.7 Ghz(I'm not sure about this as well...)
    NviDia GeForce 9500GT (Sucks but I'll buy other graphic card)
    XP Black edition 32bit

    dolphin says cpu and graphics card wont make too much of a deference

    CPU is the key thing actually, it will make a massive difference as virtually all of the work is done by the CPU. You have a relatively slow CPU and a very poor graphics card. Windows vista won't be helping matters either.

    :/ too bad, i would try some over clocking but my "im about to f*** something up senses are tingling"

    laptops cant be overclocked, and its not sensible anyway.

    that's completely stupid. what would matter, then, the RAM? both of those are they key parts i guess, and it seems you have a slow processor (the speed per core is low) and turion isn't amd's best model (only one for laptops) and a slow gfx card. you should have a better pc (pc, not laptop) to play games.

    it can handle pc games good, but just not emulators

    i have searched google and a cant find a way that dose not use a discontinued action replay. is there any other way of doing this? i was thanking that maybe some how this http://us.codejunkies.com/Products/GCN/Wii-SD-Media-Launcher-1GB___EF000205.aspx could be used, but im not sure.
