dolphin emulator crashes

when i try to start a game it usually says no possible memory base pointer and crashes. sometimes it gets to the game, the 1st screen on resident evil zero and start menu on final fantasy crystal chronicles but then freezes. the download didnt come with a read me, ive tried a few settings but dont really know what to try, can any1 help?

 

I would try a different build, as 1 game may work on 1 build and not on another

 

The "no possible memory base pointer" message is a known bug/problem that always happen whenever you're using the latest version or not.
And it only happen on certain emulator with non-default settings.

Try changing the 'Anisotropic Filter' from 1x to 16x under the Graphics Settings.
and to prevent game crash, try using the latest or previous version.
Make sure to enable the Projection Hack for FF CC.

I'm using the old version 4525, and work well to me.

 

i tried changing the settings but no luck, will try another build
