Hey RomUlation I don't know if I'm right, am I right that only roms can be downloaded with points. You can't do very much with points so i got some ideas: 1 - User's homepage: A page where the user can describe itself where you can use points to let your page look nicer. 2 - A market where you can buy roms or other with points from each other. Dunno if you like it, if you like it plz reply.
I'd expect that to be far more trouble than it's worth. Points are already used to "buy" roms. How would "buying" roms off other members work, and what possible advantages could such a system have? Furthermore, what is this "other" you want?
This is not facebook. Not happening. Transferring points between accounts would open the system to massive abuse. Not happening either.
How would RomU do that? You can already choose a few things to put on the homepage, things that show the things happening on RomU. There is already a shop where you can buy things. Either, you already buy ROM's with points.
What about using points to buy roms for other users? Or is that already possible? I'm kind of new to the site.
You download the ROM's, you got them. You now can easily share them with other users using mail, USB stick, etc.
The problem with that is that people can transfer points between their own accounts. This will increase the amount of multi-account users and increase the amount of banning we have to do.
