does usb back-up wii roms work?

    OK..there is info on this site to back up your roms on a wii using the homebrew/usb card method.

    Does this actually work...

    Does it only work for homebrew games...not ISO games...

    Im asking cause, I just bought a new Wii and would like to mod it. Thinking of getting the drivekey solderless drive. ( cause I think i will burn my house down if i tried to solder....lol..)

    So should i try this homebrew thing or im I better off too just mod....

    Ok, this is a good question, i have heard of playing backed up games without a modchip and there is a tutorial here on how to do it:-

    Now whether or not this actually works i do not know. I'd research it up before trying though.
