For things such as the opera web browser, will I still need an expansion pak?

you mean the ez flash 3 in 1 expansion? it does work with dstt, so if you want to play gba games, and run opera, yes, i recommend getting it :) you do have a nds or ndsl, right? becasue its a slot 2 device, which ndsi dont have

    Yes.

Then, you won't have to spend $40. It's only $20 or so on ShopTemp.

    I have DS Lite.
Are there any features of the DStwo that are kind of useful? Real time cheats and some of the other stuff they're bragging about seem kind of useless.

Something about patching AP that is on newer games...seems shady to me.
Nothing to die for really...it's mainly for the DSi and XL users who want GBA emulation and roms.

only the gba emulator, but its not worth the dstwo price, getting the expansion is better and cheaper. gba games plays flawless since it does not emulate the games. and it also helps on homebrew/programs needed the extra ram

I have another question, does the rumble pack only vibrate or does it detect motion too?

It's only a rumble pack. You need a motion sensor for motion.
