Hi I just came to the website today and noticed I won't be able to download DS games from this website anymore. I'm cool with that. But I try downloading older games like Mega Man X from SNES and the tab that says download is red and when I click it tells me as if I'm trying to download a DS game so will romulation still be around or what?

The romulation website will undoubtedly lose its games sometime soon.

The Romulation FORUM on the other hand...

Well, if people keep posting games on the forum, the ESA will want the forum closed.

Not exactly. They host it in file hosting sites, so it should be alright,

They'll still have games, Romulation will still be around as far as I know... but you can hang up on ANYTHING concerning the DS/DSi. Period. Either go to another site, or just go and buy them proper. The other systems are (currently) still fine; most, if not all stuff, can be downloaded from them. Also, for those that can't seem to stop the bawfest over DS/DSi games not being downloadable off Romulation anymore: There was one time where I think Romulation had to lock ALL DOWNLOADS on ALL GAMES. It took a damn good while for them to start up again, and chances are it's going to be the same with the DS/DSi stuff if it ever gets unlocked.

So, either go to another site, use one of the Megaupload mirrors other uses are putting up (at least until something -does- stop those; don't doubt companies for a second, guys), buy them proper (or import in some cases), or wait a couple years or so and maybe-- MAYBE-- Romulation will have them available for download again. Pick your poison.

Geez, I never thought my first post would be concerning something like this.

They don't have to shutdown Megaupload, they just have to report the links, which Megaupload readily removes. This is why most Megaupload links end up broken after a few months. It happens all the time on the large file sharing services. I'm pretty sure there is even a "Report" link on them, and removal is probably automatic.

So I can delete my bookmark and RSS Feed for this site, then. Okeydokey.

Looks like all the Psone popular favorite games are restricted fifa, street fighter, WWF, 007 world is not enough, spyro the dragon. If they didn't have DS downloads maybe they would have been ok.

If it's a technical issue, there is a thread for those issues. Try posting it there, to get a decent response.
Also if it's an emulator issue, or flash card, post that as well.

To answer the "literal" Question asked, yes RomUlation has a ton of games :) Just not the ones the topic starter is obviously hinting on.

It's already been months since the ESA demanded a lot of games be removed from being hosted on the site so it should already be understood by all by now. Alas, there are still a lot of stragglers though & even though their comments are agitating, annoying &/or inconsiderate at best, we regulars should set as a good example that we can keep our cool & calmly explain to them the whole situation as it is ;) If they wuss out & comment negatively let them be, it's their loss not ours now ain't it?

The thing is, the forum is still active, as people may have showed up for the games, but they stayed for the insanity.
