Does DS ROMS work on the R4 for DS???

Ok im about to have a DS lite for my birthday it has R4 but i dont where to get the games BUT i know where to get ROMS so 1 little question Does DS ROMS work on the R4 for DS? ??? ??? ???

Although you cant get roms from here for now you can get them from other sites. But Basically what conjy is trying to say is yes you can.
