does anyone know how to fix my xbox 360??? xbox support cant work it out ):

i made an xbox 360 account for playing online using my hotmail address. i then added in a parent e-mail (which was linked to our broadband provider) for the family settings. we changed broadband providers. then my family purchased a 12 month gold package that came with a headset. we added the supsription to the account.......then realising that the e-mail address for the family settings is invalid...........so we cant use the headset. :'(

 

Sounds like an issue you may need to take up with your internet provider.

 

Can't you just update the email address for the parental settings? Or did you forget the password for the lock?

I've never enabled the locking on my system... so I don't know if it's possible, but you should be able to update your account info, including email address.

what do you mean..........password for what lock?

 

I've never used the parental lock on the Xbox. I assumed it was like the parental lock on anything else, where you set the limit of what can be used, watched, or played. And you bypass it with the password.

 

Hey, xbox support should be able to do it for you, contact them and just ask them if they will change your e-mail address. I don't think it's possible to change it otherwise. Try http://www.xbox.com and see what changes you can make on your account there
