I use a wired xbox 360 controller, works nicely. What about you guys? Any particular gamepad or just keyboard?
I use a Xbox 360 wireless gaming reciever for Windows so I can use any of my wireless xbox pad. It works fucking awesome. Games that were built with a controller in mind are so hard to play M/KB. Try playing some PS1 games and you'll struggle.
i use an old-ass nostromo n45 controller, a copy of a ps1 controller. Works like a charm and i couldn't go back to playing emulators with a keyboard, especially for games like megaman x for example where you gotta jump on precise spots and such
i used a gamepad pro by gravis and when analog was introduced i used the eliminator aftershock also by gravis. i've stopped emulation. i've become very fond of the wii shopping channel and hope that more games are released though that is getting harder and harder to do due to licensing and rights.
I also use a controller for emulators. It really comes in handy when I'm playing N64 games like "Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness" or "Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards". It's just a regular USB controller for PC, btw.
I use a Saitek Cyborg Rumble pad with rotatable analog and D-pad so I can change from PSX style to XBOX style
sometimes I use my DS to play mega drive games and ones for NES yeah you get this special .nds file I could share it with romulation.net if any staff member can upload it some where.
