Do you like playing mute protagonists?

Do you like playing as mute heroes and why?

 

You mean like Chrono Trigger's Crono or the Breath of Fire series's Ryu's?

Yeah, I like playing as mute protagonists of games, such as Crono, Serge (Chrono Cross), Squall, Cloud who spoke little though. I'd would rather have a quiet guy than a loud, arrogant, annoying nuisance.

 

I really hate playing that kind of heroes. Some game like Chrono Cross has so many character but 2/3 of them are souless.That means I hate Serge, Crono and all mute characters, the games will be much better if they can speak.

 

I guess it doesn't matter as long as the game is good like Chrono Trigger. Unless you get some crappy sidekick that won't shut up (Ocarina of Time anyone? )

 

if you're referring to video games, the real answer is no.

 

the only game i liked that had a mute protagonist that i liked was Golden Sun for the GBA

 

It doesn't really bother me as long as the story still gets moved along properly, but in the end i have no preference either way.

 

mmmmm..... does Link count cause if he dose then yes.... eventhough everyone else around him talks.

 

Yah, kinda... And I loved Crono though he was mute... He was the only mute protagonist I loved ( GTA III guy was awesome, was he mute or just dumb ?)

 

I think GTA3's Fiddo was deaf mute (a lame excuse by Rockstar games for not giving him any voice acting)

Well...Link isn't exactly mute. Ever make him fall of a 20ft cliff? Although I like playing mute protagonists, I feel as if they have no soul or something...

 

I like it, you raly get into the character, but you have no way of what they're feeling
