Okay, to people who doesn't really understand:
The definition we are what we eat means we behave like what we eat everyday I mean the raw ingredient.

    I don't believe in it,
I eat much pork and I think I don't behave like a pig.
    And I hope I never will. :)

what proof? why not share it?

i most defiantly don't take any behavioral aspects from my food and i've never seen anyone else.

i also don't quite get how you can gain behavioral aspects off of a carrot.

maybe that's why vegans are all very dull people :p

I don't know where you got that idea. That's not what the meaning behind it is.

The meaning behind the phrase is you get out of your diet what ever it is you put in. If you eat healthy, you will be healthy. If you don't eat healthy, you will not be healthy.

It has nothing to do with behaving like the food items you consume.

The first site that I found which explains the idea behind the phrase:
    http://www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/you%20are%20what%20you%20eat.html

And it is absolutely true. There is no denying that what you eat has a huge effect on your mental and physical health.
