When I'm downloading a game off PSN ..do you have to downaload the demos to the game as well? I heard from someone at work that yo need to to download the demo 1st then the full game? Any truth to this? HoustonTX224...and you KNOW this maaaaaaan!!!...(In my BEST Chris Tucker voice)
most demos are the "full games" itself but they are locked, you need to buy the unlocker on the ps store, its the same with xbox live games
No, you do not need to download the Demo before downloading the full version. You can just download the full version right away. Usually I would download the demo and play it first though. Like C_Nemesis said, most of the time the "Demo" is really just the full version that is locked, so downloading it first, then unlocking it if you like it, requires no real download again. Now, this is the case for a lot of the Arcade type games, etc. This usually isn't the case with full PS3 games that offer PSN demos. Those demos are usually just small versions of the game (single level).
This. In most cases with psn dowloadable games, the demo is just a locked full game, buying the full game mearly unlocks it. At one point I downloaded dead space ignition from the psn store, the "full" game was 224kb... The demo was 1.5gb, after i installed the demo and THEN the full game it was fully opened. Not all games, only if they say something about trial or whatever, my best advice for ps3 is to download the game in background, check file size, if it's below 50mb for a full game (except wolfienstien) then consider downloading the demo if there is one.
