Do flashcarts (r4) work on the dsi?

Seph,can you "confirm" if the Acekard2i is inferior to the SupercardDSi.

I see they are roughly the same price and about the same compatibilty wise.The Supercard can have a core level upgrade,but the Acekard cant.

OK Seph.I dont know much about it either,but I dont want to recommend the Acekard2i to people if the Supercard is "better".

 

The super card dsi is still being made.

AND might I add, just because it has fancy new features doesn't mean it's gonna blow everything else out of the water.

Take the cycloDS, the BEST ds cart ever made, yet it doesn't work on dsi, and they won't make it work...





Let's wait until it comes out before reccomending it, I still stick to acekard.

 

Pertty much a guideline:
Any flash cart which the name is pretty much a letter and a number is crap. Example:
R4, R6, N5, M3, R4i, R4 SDHC, R4III, etc.
Good ones for the DS/DS Lite are:
AceKard RPG, AceKard 2, CycloDS.
DS/DS Lite/DSi:
AceKard 2i

When buying these cards do I need to put software on it or is it already on it?

 

Yeah,you should put on AKAIO and the NLOADER file.
