For those of you who did play Dissidia what do you think was the Best Character to PLAY AS! Not who is best character. I haven't gone very far in the game and am doing the characters in order of game (ff 1, ff 2, etc). So far i'm up to ff3 and I think easily that Onion knight is poonage. Agree, disagree? And please, no spoilers because I have only just started the game.

Thats true but I found that the shield of light was way too easy to dodge.

Also Firion, he has short and long range moves :)

    Short Range = Jecht
    Far Range = Terra

    Cloud Strife, use BFS.
And when on Ex-Mode his attacks cannot be blocked.

Shield of Light is supposed to be used while rushing up front to the opponent. Also, when Shield of Light is executed, all other moves (except HP attacks) are blocked.

I like Warrior of Light the best, but his attacks are slow, and recovering from a miss is also slow.
His combos are very good though. He really improves once you start getting his combos.

Here is my first battle vs Shantotto (friend card battle)

Notice how I'm such a higher level than her? Yet she dodges like crazy...

you have so much more hp than her, I just hate when they dodge and dodge over and over again. I was smashing some guy until he had one hp left then he kept dodging. He took out half my hp before I finally killed him.

not really, I could have saved $20 but I guess it was good to at least get the game
back on topic: I just started cecil's one, he is pretty good considering the difficulty is only one star.

EDIT: Also In the end of FFIV Golbez becomes good, why is he a villian in this game?

Jecht is also a badguy in Dissidia, but in FFX he isn't really bad.

The enemy is usually the character that had the most effect for the heroes, that's why Golbez and Jecht are chosen for the villain part.
And they're not really bad guy in this game either.

What is there to spoil? The story was shit.
If there was anything to spoil it would be putting the two secret characters up there.
Anyway, my best character was Gabranth

Also what story is onion knight from? It says he's from FFIII but luneth was from that so, WHO IS ONION KNIGHT?

Onion knight was the job class. With Luneth being a freelancer he would suck. So, instead they put onion knight, the strongest class job

In the Original FFIII (the one for the NES, that was remade for the DS) you had four generic characters. They changed it so that each of the characters had an identity in the DS release. The FFIII for the NES is quite a bit different than the DS version. Story line was changed to integrate the new characters that actually had identities into the storyline. The basic overall story is the same, but details were changed to add these new characters.

At the beginning of the original game, your characters were all "Onion Knights". That is why the FFIII character is an Onion Knight.
