I was wondering if anyone else had taken advantage of this? If you have either A: bought an imported copy of Dissidia Final Fantasy for the PSP, or B: Downloaded it onto your PSP somehow (A friend of mine in college did this), there's a way to play with other Dissidia owners around the world (Mainly Japan and the UK, though) If you have a PS3, you can create a new user, make a Japanese PSN account, and download an app called "AdHoc Party." Once you've established a connection between your PSP and PS3, and have equipped a Lan cable to your PS3 (you need this because the wireless feature is already being used to connect your PSP), turn on Dissidia and set it to the Online waiting room. Then, go to a waiting room in Adhoc party. If you meet someone who has the game, their friend card will appear on your PSP. Challenge them, and a battle will ensue. For those who have Dissidia and haven't tried this yet, I highly recommend it, but I do have to warn you about a couple of things. 1: There can be quite a bit of lag, especially if you have the old version of the PSP and even more so if you haven't done Data install, and EVEN WORSE if you're playing someone in Japan. If you're playing someone from the US or UK, the lag is less brutal. However, from my experience (And I've played about 30 matches), the lag never disrupted the gameplay. 2: Beware of the Japanese players. You can tell how experienced they are by looking at their friend cards, which tell you how long they have been playing. The last Japanese player I faced had played for over 400 hours! The equippment he had on his character was insane! He killed me in one shot, too! Also, I should tell you that an EXTREMELY cool feature to online play is that when someone fights you or even so much as visits your online waiting room, they will leave ghost data of their character on your offline waiting room so you can fight their computer controlled counterparts, which is pretty good for practice. If you have Dissidia and have gone through the process of doing this, I would like to ask for the name of your Japanese PSN account so maybe we can face eachother sometime. My Japanese PSN account is "Bazakuchippu"
