Disable soft reset on Wood 1.05

How do you do that?

 

What cart are you using?
And is it a port of Wood R4?

If it's the same as AKAIO, then just go to start and then go to Options and look for Soft-Reset in there and turn it to off.

 

Ok, I got an original R4, but when I go to Setting, I don't see it. I see: Scrolling spreed, filelist style, animation, show hidden files, trim rom when copy, cheat in game, reset in game, dma mode, save directly to SD, universal sleep and Backup save at startup

 

Did you try hitting L or R to see more options?

In AKAIO, I opened the Start box and chose System Options.

Then I clicked the R button until I got to Default Patch Options.
There is

DS Download Play Enabled
Soft-Reset Enabled
Cheat code usage Enabled
Autorun Disabled
etc
etc

I'm not sure what Wood R4's option menu looks like, but you should try updating if you haven't.

I can turn off soft reset. You just have to go into the Start menu, go to settings, hit the arrow on the upper right pane of the start menu until you hit the patches section, and then turn "Reset in Game" to off.

To make it clearer:

- Start
- Settings
- Scroll to the Patches section of Settings
- Set "Reset in Game" to off
- Save Settings
