Earlier I said that I got Digimon Rumble Arena to play. Not anymore nosir. its shows the bandai splash screen, then all black. You can hear sone sound, but its all black.

I have Windows XP laptop that slightly old.
I use ePSXe 170, and I have Petes open GL as my video plugin. My bios is scph1001.
I have it set on window mode, 480 X480, orignmal PSX aspect, etc.
no patch special fix or anything like that.

I'm running it from an iso from this site. Is there sone setting I have to change? The one thime I got it to work, the bg kept flashing in an annoying manner, first in the foreground and then background. You could barely see the stage. also, how can I fix that?

is the iso broken? If so, can I have a points refund? :3 ;D :D

There are nothing wrong with the ISO.
    Only need the right configuration.

Try using Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.9, and set it to 'Nice'.
I believe there are special game fixes for this game.

you might need to try an older version of ePSXe. Some games just work better with older versions.

    the disc serial number.

Your computer obviously does not support opengl, try one of the direct3d drivers. older versions of epsxe can be obtained from the epsxe website.

It still has the bg flashing thing where the bg first flashes in the foreground, then in the background. anyidea to fix it? My current (and working settings are:

EDIT!: Figured some of it out. I risked putting it on my camera and playing it on my computer (which is considerably faster and stronger) and the bg flash isnst sobasd. I guess it all depends on the computer.

I mean, on the laptop, I got about 10 fps during the opining, 2-4 fps, during menus, and 2 fps during the actual battle.

On my computer, the opening was laggier, but the menus and battles were all faster. AKA about 50. fps. the speed surprised me :3
