I downloaded the specific game lately but i have a problem.... when it starts,after the first scene the game freezes and i have to reset my PC.... also the video in the start of the game is somehow damaged..... i have not encountered the same problem with any other psx emulator game i played.... is there a configuration issue or the digimon 3 is corrupted???? thank you in advance
well questions... 1. which emulator? 2. what are your specs? 3. what plug ins are you using? 4. have you changed anything that made other games work? 5....what graphics card do you have?
well.... 1. ePSXe(enchanted PSX Emulator) v .1.6.0 2. meaning?? 3. video=>Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.75 sound=>Pete's DSound Audio Driver 1.15 cdrom=>Pete's CDR ASPI/IOCTL Driver 1.10 4. no.i don't think so... 5. i think it is VIA/S3G unichrome pro IGP P.S:some years when i had the cd of this game it played just fine..... I tried to take it from another source but nothing so far....
Update your plugins, as well your ePSXe to 1.7.0. Change your Cdrom plugin to ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.7.0, and your video plugin to the latest Pete's D3D plugin. The sound plugin can be set to either ePSXe SPU core or Eternal SPU Plugin.
I downloaded everything.... I will try them tomorrow and come with results.... I hope this will be solved.... Post Merge: [time]1278682800[/time] It gives me the same exact error.... i think that this cd might not be well burnt.... can i request someone burn it again and reupload it please????? however the chrono that i couldn't play i can now just fine
sorry for the double post before but i think i found the solution this time.... there's a thread here http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=7825.msg75832#msg75832 but i can't find Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.1.75 does anyone any site to download the specific one????
The iso shouldn't be an issue since I can play it just fine. I'm not sure if your card support OpenGL or not, but try using OpenGL2 2.9, If it's not working, try P.E.ops Soft Driver plugins. You can find the old plugins from here.
shocked..... well i used all the video plugins I have/can find..... the one that currently does the job is P.E.ops Soft Driver 1,17... thank you all for your time and effort..... i forgot to tell you that when i used (many years ago)to play via the cd there was no problem at all and i played every game just fine even with ePSXe 1,6...... i haven't make any changes to my pc what might be the reason??
