hi, I Found out that fake R4's damage your DS console, and eventually destroy it, to find out if an R4 is fake or real? how may i do so?

I use NDSTokyoTrim thanks to the site :), and i would like to know the Disadvantages Advantages

What is SRAM patching?, what does it do?...

OHH and one more thing, i wanna become a programmer, but have no idea where to start i wanted to learn visual basic, but i hardly learnt a thing, Youtube videos helped more, i would like to know what is the best programming language + where to learn it, with the meaning of what each command does.

There's a topic on http://www.gbatemp.net/ somewhere with pictures showing you the difference between real and fake. SRAM patching is patching the game's save to a SRAM type. You shouldn't need to use it for R4. Other flashcarts need SRAM patching for a few games. You're going to want to learn C/++ later, although Visual Basic is fine I guess.

there is no best programing language, some are harder than others and some are more suited to specific tasks. C++ is the most widely used one in industry, however it is also one of the hardest to learn. Visual basic is considerably easier, however it is not as efficient and is usually regarded as something of a joke among 'professional' programmers. My advice is if you are going to learn C++ at some point then don't learn visual basic as they are entirely different and trying to learn C++ when you know VB just makes it harder for you. For a gentle introduction to C++, learn PHP (a web server side scripting language derived from C++) first.
