I doubt it has "AP". What firmware are you using, what version of POPs are you using, and what program did you use to create the Eboot?

POPS is what they call the playstation emulator on the PSP. It has been updated over the many OFW updates of the PSP as sony fixes things, etc to allow their PSOne games you can download to play.

When using backups like this, some versions of POPS run certain games better than others. The POPS emulator is extracted from copies of the OFW, and you use a plugin called POPSLoader to change what version of pops you use. This increases the compatibility of your PSP with PSX games, by letting you select per game the best version to use.

The site linked mentioned it has issues with it freezing after the blizzard symbol if the disk load is set to fast. Try lowering it.

When I make eboots there is usually only one file. And it just requires that one file to run for me. Eboot.pbp

Try installing popsloader and using different pops versions.

I already explained to you what popsloader is.

With popsloader installed and enabled, when you start a PSX Eboot for the first time it will ask you what version of pops you want to use to run that particular game. You can select to use the current version in the firmware or one of the previous versions popsloader has. To change to a different version of pops at after you choose initially, then just hold "R" down while starting the game. This will bring up the version selection menu again.

And of course it won't mess up your CFW. It's a plugin specifically made for use on PSPs with CFW to increase the compatibility with PSX games. 100s (1000s) of people use it all the time.

    whats the recovery menu?

Hold "R" while turning on your PSP to enter the recovery menu. There you can adjust a lot of settings on your PSPs custom firmware, including enabling/disabling plugins.
