    Do you mean Devil Survivor for the DS? Because as far as I know, Devil Summoner was only for the PSP, PS1 and PS2.

    If you did mean Devil Survivor, then the answer is No. The games take place in different places and at different times, and thus have different storylines. While the central theme and concept is the same (kids suddenly gaining the power to summon demons, demon auctions, 7 days to live etc.), the characters and events are different.

    There's a few references to the previous games in there, but you're not missing out on much, hora hora.
