OK, so I just got desmume 0.9.5, trying to play spirit tracks. It was working a lot better than no$gba (made it run too fast), but then I came back to it and realized that it didn't save correctly. It didn't say there was an error after saving though.
I looked up spirit tracks on advanscene (the link in the wiki faq) and it says spirit tracks saves in 8 mbit, which is not an option on desmume... is there any way to get around this?

Basically, I guess I just need to know how to save in 8 mbit on desmume.
Also, I saw somewhere you can get around it using an edge card, which I don't have, so saying that is useless to me =/

I'm pretty sure the game runs smoothly when using both no$gba2.6a and no$zoomer2.3.0.2.

I've tried that already, the game runs at about 3x speed, and going to the extra options and selecting ex5 makes it run at about 1/2 speed

apparently it can't save in phantom hourglass either...

Don't use EX5, that option will only makes your game runs at the half speeds.

Try to increase the speeds by going to no$gba settings, go to Emulation setup,
under the Emulation Speed, LCD refresh, choose Realtime*2 Auto.
