DeSmuME Problems

I have a iBook G4 (about 3 years old) and am running Mac OS X 10.4.11 with a 1.33GHz PowerPC processor and 512 MB memory.

I have downloaded DeSmuME three times and I can not get it to run on my laptop. I can't even get it to open up.

Any help?

 

Which version of DeSmuME Mac port?

i can't get into help, the program won't open, the icon has a white circle with a line in it. i'm downloading the only version i can find.

 

Ah, my bad, I forgot you couldn't actually open it. It may just be incompatible with the OS.

 

yeah, but every website i look at says it should work.

i wonder if there are any other options out there. i wanna take screen shots of stuff.

 

Have you tried redownloading the latest version?

 

I'm currently using a mac G5 version 10.4.11 1.9 Ghz PowerPC,downloaded the latest DeSmuME... works fine for me but good luck trying to find a game that will work on it because most of the games Ive tried didn't work, they would run very slow an the graphics are messed up.

 

DsmuME....isn't that a ds emu for snes games?

yeah, i've downloaded the latest version (the only one i can find) like 4 times ... i'll try it again and see what happens

yeah, this last time it worked, but the icon is different than i remember. and you were right, the graphics and sound are pretty bad, but if i mute it, there's no problem with taking screen shots.
