I guess they have hate relationship, since my Desmume 0.95 doesn't work properly anymore. I start a game, for example Pokémon Platinum. Intro works well, I get to pick my gender and name, but when the real game starts, upper screen is black. Lower screen shows Pokéball logo, as it should show, but upper screen doesnt show anything. I hear the music and sounds, but there's no picture. I can move my character and she moves, shince the rival entered the room, and I saw the dialogue on the lower screen. Same problem with every game, but with some games it's different. Pokémon Trozei: Black upper screen, sounds work, lower works Cooking Mama: Upper Screen works, sounds work, lower screen is transparent (I can't see the option buttons, but they are there, since I get to the game mode menu.) Final Fantasy III: In game both screens are balck, but I can see the "Attack, Defend etc." text on lower screen, sounds work. So, there's few examples. What should I do?
I've tried to use no&gba many times, but I can't get it work. It always says something that rom is invalid, or something like that. (Don't remember correctly atm.) I'm not really good with emulators, so I'd really appreciate it, if someone could help.
For easier way try download the whole no$gba package from here https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php?topic=31241.0 I'm more knowledgable in no$gba than DeSmuMe though. At least no$gba works fine for me so far.
Okay, No$gba is not working with Pokémon games, and I can't even use that shit, so, does anyone have an idea, what to do with that Desmume? I really, really, want to go and play Soul Silver and I start to getting really pissed here. Please, anyone?
Well, Soulsilver/Heartgold absolutely do NOT play on No$GBA. Trust me. I've tried. Thank china for da Acekard. You need to have DeSMuMe v0.9.5 running a dual core or better processor to work with pokemon games such as HG/SS.
