Well I'm looking to modify my desktop, I used object dock back in the day with windows XP, I haven't done modding for some time and I hate having stuff on my desktop.. I'm a very minimilistic person and would love to have nothing on my desktop, I don't even want my task bar if possible. Any suggestions? If it's pay to use software, I know I can get it regardless, I just want some good ideas, also.... Where are some good places for some nice wallpapers? I'm in to gaming/realistic/abstract/crazy, not so much in to Anime, I use :

    Vista x64

turn on the taskbar auto-hide option? I hate object dock et al as they cause a massive performance hit and also major compatibility issues with other software.

Make a folder with "shortcuts" and make the icon size minimum?

It's a Application launcher. You can add Shortcuts to it for an easy navigation and launch.

Meh. If you're really into minimalism, Launchy/ Find and Run Robot/ Executor totally replaces the need for any icons, docks, and the likes. Hit the hotkey, Launchy appears, type in part or all of the program name, press enter, and off you go. At the moment I just have a nice clean wallpaper with taskbar. I'm sticking with the Royale Black theme until I can find a more minimalistic one :p .
