Dengeki Gakuen RPG: Cross of Venus problem

Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by wind_masoukishin, May 26, 2010.

  1. Hello there again guys... I'm here to ask for you help again...
I'm currently trying to run Cross of Venus on No$GBA with No$Zoomer...
Well the title screen is ok except that it flickers a bit...
But when you get to the screen where you have to enter the protagonist's name
both the upper and lower screen starts to flicker with the image of the upper screen also
appearing in the lower screen... >.< it goes on until you start moving in the first area of the game.. can anyone help me on this? >.< thanks in advance

Try to mess around with the Ex Options in the Extra.

Or try changing the renderer from nocash to OpenGl.

That game has some graphic issues when playing on No$gba, even with No$zoomer.
The EX option may do the trick, but other graphic problem may occur.

    Alternatively, use DeSmuMe.

  4. Thank you for the tip guys... I did try ticking some EX option... but it doesn't seem to have any effect....

    @meganova
I'll try to run it on Desmume now :3

Eh, is there a way to use that emulator w/o the C++ tool >_>? Because it will not install for me, well more specifically: the Microsoft download manager you obtain and download the program from states that it was unable to connect to the internet. I've looked for solutions over the net, but I haven't really found any concrete solutions.

You don't have to install it, just extract all the files into a folder.

and the emulator just run and play.

I mean....here's the download in the main site - http://desmume.org/download/

And here is what it's telling me - http://wiki.desmume.org/index.php?title=Installing_DeSmuME_from_source_on_Windows

    >_> Now I have no idea what to do...especially since I can't install the C++ tool, unless I'm doing something horribly wrong, and if so, then a little guidance would be appreciated, thanks.

That's a Developer related, just download the emulator from this link.
Extract all the files, and then run 'DeSmuMe.exe'.

(unless you're going to use the source files)
