Anyone else think this is a pathetic excuse for a "horror" game? I mean the game is fun, yeah. Running around and shooting zombies and such, but it's plain not scary. The zombies are extremely predictable, there is one scripted event per chapter, the first one might surprise you a little but then it repeats throughout the chapter. They always run straight at you, never trying any tactics or anything. The puzzles were one good part. Not very difficult at all, but that small piano puzzle was quite clever I thought. The 60 FPS is great though, and I like the controls. But still, what are your thoughts on the horror aspect of it?
Why would zombies use tactic? Personally, I think it's as scary as a three inch screen on the back of the bus can get right now, but you never know. There should be a better horror game coming soon.
I don't mean tactics as in moving around the back and making a triangle formation as a distraction while a sneaky one assassinates you. I just mean add a bit more variation, other than running straight for you.
Yeah I did not particularly enjoyed Dementium, I liked it for about an hour or so but then it just got repetitive. But I guess its not easy pulling off a horror game anymore, one way or another every horror game is somewhat predictable and they rip ideas off one another. Silent hill and F.E.A.R was scary in the beginning then the sequel just got pretty predictable.
