oh no. you got a DSTT...

the DSTT won't run certain games. I ran into this problem with a patched version of Jump! Ultimate Stars.

do you have any sort of file organizer in DSTT? like DSOrganize?
I used to delete stuff that way when it didn't go away from the SD card.

dstt is a good card save for the patch and trim issue :p

just back everything up and reformat your card :D that should work

used to happen to my r4 as well *shrug* check your memory card too, you might have write protected it or something with the same effect :p

    and...

this should be in technical help

i have a CycloDS so I never ran into problems like these...
    ever...

using a mac could be half of the problem.

i just read something about the DSTT not being able to play trimmed or patched games.
and i think it was on this forum. lol

its not about playing trimmed or patched games..
'cause i can play all the games that i've put in de card...
but the card is now full...don't have much mb left over..
and there're just a few games that i don't like and want to deleted to put other games instead...

but somehow it can't be deleted...
when i checked the memory card...the games are deleted...
but when i put the card back in de DS...the games are still there ? ???

    i just don't understand... :'(

does it get deleted while still in your mac and just suddenly pop back out when in your dstt?
if so just put in the new game before loading it back in?

Are the games back on with full memory size when you connect the MicroSD back to the Mac, after having deleted them and booting it up on your DS?

i bet you it says 0 MB for each file that was deleted, but the remnants are still on the card. (and yet, still won't let you put additional files on it)

again, try using DSOrganize as it is able to delete the files a different way, other than through the Mac OS/Windows OS.

That would be the case, if the files were indeed corrupt.

either the mac is incompetent on deleting files from a SD card, or it's the SD card itself, or it's the DSTT.
    1. try using the card [Card 1] on a pc.
    2. use a different brand card. [Card 2]
    3. use [Card 2] on a pc.
    4. try a different flash cart [FC2] using [Card 1] with the mac
    5. try [FC2] using [Card 2] with the mac
    6. try [FC2] using [Card 1] with a pc
    7. try [FC2] using [Card 2] with a pc

there, that lists every possible option to determine which is the weakest link.
it is most likely the SD card or the DSTT.

like I said before, (and I'll say it again) use DSOrganize and use the file manager. Its how I fixed the EXACT same problem with a homebrew game I had on there.

You're probably figured it out by now, but what I do is I empty the trashcan after i delete the games, otherwise it's not deleted from the card.

Hey my man. Listen, I know it sounds basic, but did you try Secure Empty Trash? It's under Finder. If you just delete the file and check your free space on your card, it will remain unchanged. However, if you empty trash, it really does get rid of them. I could just be being a moron with this basic solution, but try it. :)
