Hello, I recently got 1000 posts and I noticed my post count is 1.0XX

Can someone explain why it's that way instead of 10XX?

In most countries in Europe, they use a dot instead of a comma.

Just depends on what the default is.

Since this site has a European based founder, then it only makes sense to have decimals instead of commas.

    For example.

    US EU
    $1.00 $1,00

They both represent one dollar, but the commas are just used in place of the decimal point.

Oh, never knew, well, the more I know, the better I guess.

Thanks. I think they use the decimal point in China as well.

I think so if you weren't familiar with the concept.

I don't know if they do or not.

I know in Spain and most EU countries, they use commas.
I think Canada too?...not sure though.

UK uses dots for decimals and commas for separating thousands (1,000,001 is one million and one, 1.000001 is one and one millionth part). Most of europe does it the other way around, including denmark, where seph is from.

    Not about higher numbers.

I didn't know that. I just knew about the money and smaller numbers.
