Debates section icon not functioning properly

    I can't decide weither to put this here or on the bugs section, but since this is a forum problem, I chose to post it here

    The icon telling you if a new post is up for the debates section seems out of whack, it still is orange, signifying a new post but when I look in there isn't any.

    that happens to me with the trading station and has for ages, its a bug in SMF.

    Yeah the problem happens to me with the Debates but not the Trading Station.

    I just hit "mark all messages as read" and it goes away.

    If I'm not mistaken, it's just there to tell you there's is topics you haven't read....
    They can be from months ago....but if you haven't read them....the icon will still be orange..

    No it's supposed to disappear once you go into the section, you don't have to read every single thread.

    Yeah, it happened to me once, and I figured out the mark all messages as read thing a while ago.
