http://kotaku.com/5467177/dead-space-extraction-planet-cracker-coming-to-xbla-psn i'm really excited that the ps3/360 will have dead space extraction. i hope it does way better then the wii. if this game sells better on the ps3/360 then on the wii, then more companies would make more of these rail shooters for the ps3/360 gamers as opposed to the casual gamers on the wii. it is what the hardcore want anyway, right?! narrative, complex story, emotions, etc.... and this game offers all that for the hardcore. not only a port, but an hd upgrade. two for the price of one. so not only a complex story, emotions, narrative, etc... but also improved graphics. ps3/360 gamers will get the full experience that many wii owners did not.
I hope it sells, considering that the most points an XBLA game has costed is 1600 points (Which I think is 15 dollars). I'd totally go for it again. Why not have a Wii HD?
Anyone realizing that Mature games of Wii are turning Multi Platform? And, onrail on Dualshcok would be very hard, I'll pass.
don't worry about that, i'm sure they'll implement, ahead of time, with the natal and the wand. so you'll be using motion controllers. i really can't wait for this game to be released. more rail shooters for the ps3/360!
The fact that anyone thought that having Hardcore and Mature games as Wii exclusives is simply shocking to me
even though i like dead space, but i certainly dont like dead space extraction. dead space extraction isnt scary at all. since its a rail shooter, there is no freedom in the game unlike the original game. I dont imagine dead space extraction will do any better in PS3/360 then in wii even though we get the original dead space. better wait for Dead Space 2, because that is the real deal.
The thing about Dead Space Extraction was you had to get over that Extraction isn't anything like Dead Space (gameplay wise). It's a great game if you take it as it is, especially for an on-rails shooter (there's some different paths in the game too). It's also long, has an enthralling story, some shock moments, and great graphics especially for the Wii. I'm excited to see the 360/PS3 version, especially to see how they handle the controls. Either way, I'll get it again. Easily worth 15 dollars.
