I just recently came accross this program called DAZ 3d. It's like a 3d modelling program and Im quite interested with it. Anyone else heard of it? I want to get more contents but you have to pay and I cant find a good place to download more.

Theres no trial. The software is free. The contents and all is what you must buy and what makes it crappy. :(

Hm, doesn't look too bad, the sample looks quite nice. Never come across a program where it's completely free, but you have to pay for the extra stuff :p Is this the DAZ Studio?

That's bloody awesome, how long did it take you? I don't think that text is going to stay there though, so who cares about it.

It's quite simple actually. Stuff are there for you, you reposition them set lightings and that's about it.

Ah I see, no wonder it looks similar to the sample at the top. Still amazing though.

So these aren't completely original? They're models that come with the program?

  18. anandjones

    anandjones Well-Known Member

    Yes, they're not custom made.

ah I see, I thought they were completely rendered and textured from scratch, still pretty cool but its kinda cheating isnt it :p

"Graphics expert Almo is offended by this program, as it allows you to make 3d models with ease." said local reporter Anandjones at the graphic and art convention held yesterday at Jade Stadium. :p
