CycloDS mega problems

So recently my Cyclo's been messing up a whole bunch. At first it started not detecting Moonshell and now it won't detect my cheat database. What should I do. It's at firmware 1.58.

 

Backup your files, format your MicroSD, and restore the files.

 

Tried it, and it failed, is there anyway to restore my actual Cyclo?

 

in the settings have you made cheats ON (happened to me on the first day xD) and for moonshell do this

Open the CycloDS Folder and then open the file called "config" with notepad. Then look for the strand that looks similar to this "<moonshellPath>/moonshl/moonshell.nds</moonshellPath>" and change it to this "<moonshellPath>/moonshl2/moonshl2.nds</moonshellPath>". Moonshell 2 Should Run Now.

 

I was under the impression that ever since 1.56 Moonshell 2 was the default directory in the config file.
Were these things, moonshell and cheats, working previously with 1.58, and now they aren't?

And what do you mean by your format failed?

 

i dont know what happend there but yes and no the cheats you have to turn on and installing moonshell turns them off
