    13. Then, Press X to install the patch, during the process a file will called vshorig.prx will be created and placed in your PSP root. Don't worry about this, it only will be used if your PSP 'somehow' get bricked. Continue on.
    14. Press X again to test whether the patch can be installed on your PSP, the screen will go black after a while and back to the XMB, check the System Information again, and make sure the 6.20 PRO-B6 is still there.
    15. Run the Permanent Patch again, then follow the instructions all the way back to where you was prompted to test the patch, right now, Press O.

you should also add that this works on most psp's and the google codes page because that is where all the updates will be found when/if it gets updated. i think you can use the permanent patch for these firmware's (on psp 1000/2000), i wouldn't know because i use cfw 6.39 me-4

The permanent patch B7 a.k.a Nightly Build is only for 1000/early 2000 with 6.39 OFW, the developer himself has stated not to use it as it still in Beta version, and of course, unstable.

Yeah, it(B6) works on all PSP, but which CFW you can use is depend on the module of your PSP.
