so i've been playing okami on the wii for a while, but the controls are really bugging me, (mainly the attack command) cause you gotta shake your controller and it isnt the most sensitive game.... im wondering if theres a way to maybe patch the game to switch the controls?
Okami was originally made for PS2 People would play with the controler and hold a button to use the pen. So yes, normal moves are a lot smother on the Ps2 version. Wii control doesn't have the same luck, but in the other hand the pen is faster to use and so far I heard the power of the skills got raised on the Wii. Which means they expect you to use it more. My suggestion is wait until you can use the Sword kind of weapons. So you use a sword as main (since they aren't that fast anyway) and the starter weapon as a shield. And abuse a lot of the pen (you may want to stock up itens of infinite pen use, they are usefull bye the end of the game)
If you have trouble with the attacking, try playing "SoulCalibur Legends" first. You'll hurt your wrist playing it, but it'll help you make every swing of the Wiimote be strong enough for Okami to sense.
